Jalapeno Basil Soup



  • 1/2 cup fresh cut organic basil

  • 1 cup fresh cut organic cilantro

  • 4 organic roma tomatoes

  • 1 small organic yellow onion quartered

  • 2 organic garlic cloves

  • 2 diced organic jalapenos

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 cups vegan vegetable broth

  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric

  • 1 tablespoon organic tomato paste

  • 1/4 cup organic heavy whipping cream

  • Salt to taste


  1. In a medium-sized pot, mix in all ingredients EXCEPT for the turmeric, tomato paste and heavy whipping cream

  2. Bring to a boil and let cook for approximately 20 minutes (or until the tomatoes and jalapenos are tender)

  3. Place the ingredients from the pot into a blender and puree thoroughly

  4. Put the mixture back into the pot and cook over medium heat

  5. Stir in the turmeric, tomato paste and salt (to taste)

  6. Whisky in the heavy whipping cream until you have a nice, creamy consistency
